Log Management Sidebar Menu Item
Nodinite Log Management gives you centralized, secure, and highly configurable control over your integration logging. It is the administrator's side of self-service logging: here you decide where events come from (Log Agents), which business values become searchable (Search Fields), and who may see what (Log Views).
- ✅ Centralized access to all logging features in one place
- ✅ Secure, role-based visibility and configuration
- ✅ End-to-end observability and advanced integration monitoring
- ✅ Streamlined troubleshooting and compliance
On this page, a Nodinite Administrator learns how to navigate the Log Management sub-menu in the Administration sidebar of the Nodinite Web Client. Business users who only search logged events start with Working with Log Views instead.

Important
Before you can extract business data with Search Fields, you must first configure Message Types in the Repository Model. Message Types define the business transaction types (Orders, Invoices, Shipments) that let Search Field Expressions identify and extract data correctly.
The complete workflow
- Message Types (Repository Model) - Define business transaction types first
- Search Fields - Configure expressions to extract Order IDs, Customer Numbers, etc.
- Log Views - Enable business users to search by extracted business data, granted through Roles
- BPM - Correlate transactions end-to-end across your integration landscape
- Non-Events Monitoring - Automatically detect missing or delayed messages
Sub-menu Items
The following sub-menu items let you tailor your logging experience:
