Manage the Monitoring Service
We designed the Nodinite Monitoring Service to make sure it can be adapted for your specific demands and the run-time environment (workload). In this article, you will learn how to alter some of the settings for the Monitoring Service to make sure you stay compliant with formal and informal demands. Depending on your business demands and actual workload, you may have to fine-tune the Monitoring Service to match your reality. The Monitoring Service comes installed with some default settings to get you started.

- System Parameters - Use the Install and Update Tool to change any of the following system parameters:
- MaintenanceMode
- DaysToKeepMonitorEvents
- AlarmPluginsFolder
Note
You must stop the Monitoring Service if you want to replace an existing Alarm Plugin. Remember to restart the service once you have finished copying the DLL files.
