Web API FAQ and Troubleshooting guide

The Nodinite Web API is part of Core Services and relies and has many dependencies as described in the Prerequisites user guide.

Does the Web API support Swagger?

Yes, the Web API has Swagger support which comes complete with documentation, client SDK generation and discoverability. Swagger is a simple yet powerful representation of the REST-ful API.

What protocols are supported?

The following protocols are supported:

  • HTTPS
  • HTTP

Important

You must use a valid certificate when using HTTPS with the Nodinite Web API.

If the browser returns that the certificate is not secure, then the Web API will not work (since it can't be called upon).
