Integration Landscape

With the Integration Landscape feature, you can visually design your Repository Model on a dynamic canvas—just like you would in Visio or PowerPoint, but fully integrated with Nodinite.
Landscape Example
Here's an example of the Integration Landscape.

The graphical Integration Landscape is built on the relationships between your Nodinite repository artifacts. Easily manage and document integrations using the Nodinite Web Client. For step-by-step guidance, explore these user guides:

Core Services Web Client User Guide Add or Manage
Integrations Integration Overview Add or manage Integration
Systems System Overview Add or manage System
Services Service Overview Add or manage Service

Quick Facts for the Integration Landscape:

  • There is a 1:1 mapping between each Integration and its Integration Landscape
  • Drag and drop Systems, Services, and Contracts onto the canvas for intuitive design
  • Paint from left to right, right to left, or both—flexibility is built in!
  • Each System can only appear once in the Integration Landscape and can be resized both horizontally and vertically

The Integration Landscape is designed to be rewarding—the more you invest in documentation, the more value you gain!

The Nodinite Repository Model is tightly integrated with these features:

Feature Comment
Monitor Views Composite views with monitored Resources let you instantly see the impact of reported problems
Alarm Plugins Push alerts to stakeholders with relevant information (Custom Metadata)
Log Views Search for logged data using self-service and know sender/receiver information
Repository Model Provides a structured way to document system integration solutions

Please review the Integrations user guide to quickly get up to speed.

Manage Integration Landscape

You can change the direction of Services and Contracts. For example, consider this poorly designed Integration Landscape:
