Verify agent versions and download MSI installers for remote deployment to integration servers.

Overview

The Download and Update Agents page provides a quick way to check available agent versions and download MSI installers for deployment on remote servers.

Important

Nodinite 7.1.0 and later: This page is primarily used for:

  • Verifying available agent versions - Check for updates and new releases
  • Downloading agents for remote deployment - Obtain MSI installers for installation on other servers (e.g., BizTalk Server, remote monitoring servers)

For local Nodinite server updates: Use the Update Nodinite v7 guide with PowerShell scripts from the Nodinite Portal.

Available Agents and Versions

The Download and Update Agents page displays two categories of downloadable components:

Prerequisites

  • You must be a member of the built-in Administrator Role to access the Download and Update Agents page

Primary Use Cases

Verify Agent Versions

Check if newer agent versions are available:

  1. Navigate to Administration → Settings → Download/Update Agents
  2. Review the Release Date column to see when agents were last updated
  3. Compare the Version numbers with your currently installed agents
  4. Identify agents with green checkmarks (✓) indicating recent stable releases

Download Agents for Remote Deployment

Download MSI installers for installation on remote integration servers:

  1. Navigate to Administration → Settings → Download/Update Agents
  2. Locate the agent for your target platform (e.g., Microsoft BizTalk Server)
  3. Click on the agent name to download the MSI installer
  4. Transfer the MSI to the target server
  5. Install the agent with appropriate permissions

Note

BizTalk Server agents are the most common use case for remote MSI deployment, as BizTalk environments often require on-server installation.
