Monitoring Agents Overview

The Monitoring Agent Overview in the Monitor main Menu is where a Nodinite Administrator manages installed and configured Monitoring Agents.
Monitoring Agents are part of the Monitoring concept and is a key feature of Nodinite. Make sure to read the 'What is a Monitoring Agent' user guide and understand the basic concepts before continuing.
In the Monitoring Agent Overview you will find a sortable list of defined Monitoring Agents to manage. An extensive list of Monitoring Agents can swiftly be narrowed down to target by typing characters into the filter text box.

Manage Monitoring Agents
The available functionalities for managing Monitoring Agents are:
- Add new Monitoring Agent
- Edit existing Monitoring Agent
- Delete Monitoring Agent
- Restore deleted Monitoring Agent
- Filter the list of Monitoring Agents
- Sort
- Copy API URL for use in custom Reports
Add new Monitoring Agent
To create a new Monitoring Agent simply click on the "Add Monitoring Agent" or "Quick add Monitoring Agent" button to open the Monitoring Agent editor.
Edit Monitoring Agent
To Edit an existing Monitoring Agents simply click on the link in the Name column or open the menu from the "Actions" button and click on the "Edit" menu item.
Click the 'Edit' menu item to edit an existing Monitoring Agent.
Delete Monitoring Agent Configuration
To Delete an existing Monitoring Agent open the menu from the "Actions" button and click on the "Delete" menu item.

Restore deleted Monitoring Agent Configuration
To Restore a deleted Monitoring Agent you must first check the "Show deleted Monitoring Agents" checkbox.
When checked, include deleted Monitoring Agents in the list.
Then open the menu from the "Actions" button and click on the "Restore" menu item.
Click the 'Restore' menu item to Restore a deleted Monitoring Agent.
