FTP Sites Available Actions
For the IIS FTP Sites Category, the Windows Server Monitoring Agent provides the following Remote Actions:
Start FTP Site
Start the selected FTP Site.
You will be prompted to confirm the operation.
The Windows Server Monitoring Agent contacts the IIS instance and starts the FTP Site as requested. The result appears on the screen.
Note
Starting an FTP Site makes it available for file transfer operations.
Stop FTP Site
Stop the selected FTP Site.
You will be prompted to confirm the operation.
The Windows Server Monitoring Agent contacts the IIS instance and stops the FTP Site. The result appears on the screen.
Warning
Stopping an FTP Site will immediately disconnect all active FTP sessions.
Restart FTP Site
Restart the selected FTP Site.
You will be prompted to confirm the operation.
The Windows Server Monitoring Agent contacts the IIS instance and restarts the FTP Site. The result appears on the screen.
Note
Restarting an FTP Site applies configuration changes without requiring a full IIS reset.
