Ownership and governance
"Who owns this?" should never be a hard question. With Nodinite Custom Metadata, every integration carries its owner, SLA level, and emergency contact as part of your documented landscape: required when it's written, easy to search, and in front of whoever gets the alert.
- ✅ Make sure no integration is saved without an owner
- ✅ Find integrations by owner, SLA level, or compliance tag, including the ones with gaps
- ✅ Give responders the owner and emergency contact right in the alert
The journey
Owning your team's documentation? Start at task 1. Just need answers? Task 2 works on its own.
| # | Task | You'll be able to |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Make sure every integration has an owner | Make a field such as Owner mandatory, so every Integration has it |
| 2 | Find integrations by owner or SLA | Filter the Integrations list on up to 4 fields, and find the empty ones |
| 3 | Show who to call in alerts | Keep owner, emergency contact, and runbook on the Integration so alerts show them |
What your administrator sets up once
| For task | Your administrator provides |
|---|---|
| 1 | The Modify permission on Custom Metadata for your Role, see Permission Set for the Repository Model |
| 2 | Access to the Integrations pages of the Repository, via your Role |
| 3 | An Alarm Plugin on the Monitor View whose email layout or webhook shows the Custom Metadata fields |
