Tags Overview

Tags help business users find the right information faster in Nodinite. You can use a Tag to classify and group content so lists, searches, and views become easier to navigate.

With Tags, you can:

• ✅ Organize Log Views, Monitor Views, and Articles by business context
• ✅ Classify C4 Diagrams and each Diagram Set with shared labels
• ✅ Filter and search using consistent words across operations and architecture

Where You Use Tags

You can use Tags in the following business-facing areas:

• Operational views: Log Views and Monitor Views
• Knowledge: Articles
• Architecture: C4 Diagrams and Diagram Set entries

When teams use the same Tags across these areas, it becomes easier to move from an incident in monitoring to related architecture diagrams and documentation.

Recommended Tag Strategy

Use simple, reusable Tags that represent business meaning:

• Domain tags - Finance, Order-to-Cash, Healthcare
• Environment tags - Production, Test, Sandbox
• Ownership tags - Team-Integration, Partner-A
• Priority tags - Critical, Regulated

Keep Tag names short and consistent to improve filtering and discovery.

C4 Diagrams and Diagram Set Support

Tags are supported for both C4 Diagrams and Diagram Set. This enables you to:

• Filter architecture assets by business domain
• Group related diagrams for governance and reviews
• Align architecture navigation with the same Tag model used in Log and Monitor workflows
