ProductKey - System Parameter

Nodinite 7 – Product Key Management

With Nodinite 7, product key management has been streamlined for security and ease of use. The modern flow is:

A new contract in the Nodinite Portal is required before you can use Nodinite 7.
You obtain the product key for Nodinite 7 from the Portal.
Manage your Product Key directly from within the Nodinite Web Client; go to Administration | Settings | System Parameters.
The deprecated Install and Update Tool is no longer the recommended or primary flow for v7.
The Product Key and Customer Name are always paired for compliance and security.

If your product key is invalid or expired, you will be blocked from using the Nodinite Web Client, but background processes continue to run. Read more on the Support page and provide your CustomerName for fast assistance.

Access the Manage License page in the Nodinite Web Client under Administration | Settings | Manage License.

Enter your new Product Key and Customer Name on the Manage License page:

Click the Save button to apply the changes. If the provided information is valid, you will see a confirmation message, and your Nodinite instance will be updated accordingly.

Nodinite Versions Prior to 7 (Legacy)

For Nodinite versions prior to 7, the deprecated Nodinite Install and Update Tool could be used to manage the Product Key:

Use the legacy Install and Update tool (version 5.2 and later) to modify both the CustomerName and ProductKey on older installed instances.
Click the Manage License button:
