Time Intervals Overview

Gain full control over how far back in time your users can search for archived log events and data in Nodinite. The Time Intervals feature lets you define, manage, and secure time-based search limits, empowering your business to solve problems independently while maintaining compliance and performance. You can also use it in Monitor Views to set recurrence on alerts.

Where Time Intervals Are Used

Time Intervals are a foundational configuration used across multiple Nodinite features to control timing and recurrence:

The Time Intervals Overview displays all user-defined Time Intervals. Enter text in the filter text box to quickly find specific records in large lists.

Here's an example of user-defined Time Intervals.

Operations

  • The system Administrator can Add and manage any number of Time Intervals.
  • The system Administrator can Edit a record by clicking on the record or by selecting the Edit menu item using the Actions button.
  • The system Administrator can Delete records. Deleting a Time Interval will change the content of a Time Interval Configuration.

    Warning

    The Delete operation may change the default limit for what users can search for in Log Views using Time Interval Configurations.

  • The system Administrator can Restore deleted records.
  • The system Administrator can Sort on Quantity, Unit and Description.
