Send Port Group Category
The Nodinite BizTalk Monitoring Agent monitors BizTalk Send Port Groups from all BizTalk Applications. New (and/or removed) Send Port Groups re automatically detected and managed by the monitoring agent.
Send Port Groups in BizTalk manifests in Nodinite as Resources where the name is the Send Port Group name.
Nodinite has the same notion of an Application where there is a 1:1 mapping with its BizTalk Application.
Send Port Groups are grouped by the Category Send Port Group.
Here's an example of a Monitor View filtered by the 'Send Port Group' category.

What is evaluated for BizTalk Send Ports?
The different evaluated states for any Send Port Group is provided in the table below:

Tip
The evaluated state may be reconfigured using the Expected State functionality on every Resource within Nodinite.
Actions
The following Remote Actions are available for the Send Port Group Category:
- Start - Start sending messages (also enlists the send port)
- Stop - Stop sending messages
- Enlist - Start subscribing for messages to send when started
- Unenlist - Stop the port and stop subscribing
- Tracking - Change Tracking Settings
- Details - Display detailed information about the Send Port Group.
Details
Click on the Details menu item to open a modal with essential information about the selected Send Port Group.
On this page, you can change the Description. Don't forget to click the Save button to persist the changes.
Filter Send Port Groups
The BizTalk Monitoring Agent has support to filter unwanted resources, see Configuration for details so they do not appear as monitored Resources at all.
Tip
Use the filter functionality to remove temporary Send Port Groups that should not be part of your business-critical monitoring with Nodinite.
